The Analyst IV, A-Brands Sourcing is responsible for leading and managing center store cross-brand meetings, ensuring key initiatives and outcomes are successfully executed. This role involves strategic planning, organization, and coordination to drive milestone achievement and business impact.

This position oversees all aspects of Center Store Sourcing analytics and financial insights for assigned categories, working closely with the Brands Analytics team. It plays a key role in identifying opportunities related to critical KPIs (S4OC, Trade Rates, and Trade Dollars) in collaboration with cross-brand partners.

The analyst supports major business initiatives-including cost negotiations, RFPs, value capture, and process enhancements-by developing and leveraging tools that drive financial results. Additionally, they facilitate semi-weekly cross-brand meetings to share best practices, address key business concerns, and foster collaboration across teams.

As a key business partner, this role contributes to long-range planning, identifies emerging opportunities, and analyzes market trends to support share growth and business strategy.

**Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD

Essential job functions:
  • Project Planning & Management: Develop and oversee detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines. Manage key project deliverables (e.g., Omni Reviews, CPN, scaled activities) and ensure financial expectations are met.
  • Strategic Collaboration: Drive the strategic direction of the assigned HUB by fostering collaboration among category managers to maximize scale and efficiency.
  • Performance Excellence: Deliver high-quality, data-driven insights and solutions, contributing subject matter expertise and problem-solving capabilities to assigned categories.
  • Trusted Thought Partnership: Act as a key peer to Category Management teams, facilitating cross-brand workshops and identifying opportunities for size and scale efficiencies across ADUSA, beyond individual GLBs. Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned categories and key vendors.
  • Data-Driven Negotiation Support: Analyze and synthesize data from Fact Packs/Omni Decks to generate insights and provide advanced analytical support to category teams. Champion strategic opportunities for growth, investment optimization, and cost savings.
  • Best Practice Sharing & Training: Lead training, onboarding, and skill development initiatives for new A Brands associates, ensuring knowledge transfer and continuous improvement within the team.
  • System Expertise & Analytics: Utilize analytical tools (DSS, PowerBI, Circana, etc.) to identify key insights and opportunities that drive financial results for ADUSA.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously refine and improve sourcing processes, challenging traditional engagement models with CPGs to drive better outcomes. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and overall sourcing effectiveness.
  • Personal Development & Continuous Learning: Maintain an Individual Development Plan, participate in ongoing learning and training opportunities, and adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and uphold company values.

Qualifications:
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis until the end of their appointment
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.
  • 6+ years of experience in sourcing, negotiation, category management, or vendor management (preferred).
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, including P&L management and the impact of sourcing decisions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint), with expertise in leveraging advanced features.
  • Proven expertise in sourcing and negotiation strategies.
  • Strong project management and facilitation skills.
  • Experience in change management and driving process improvements.

ME/NC/PA/SC Salary Range: $90,800 - $138,960

IL/MA/MD Salary Range: $104,400 - $159,720
