Cloud Engineer Co-op (Fall Cohort)

Co-op Program Overview 

Ahold Delhaize USA (ADUSA) offers an IT Co-op Program focused in the Data, Web and Mobile teams and is targeted to current students and recent graduates. As part of this program, you’ll work collaboratively with the grocery brands ADUSA supports, including Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop, to develop IT solutions for the next generation of grocery retail. Participants can expect to leverage rapid application development, such as websites and apps, to create new offerings and ways of doing business while exploring emerging technologies new to the commercial space.

Position Overview 

We’re looking for bright, energetic, and out-of-the-box problem solvers to join our team. You will be part of Cloud Services team to enable developer productivity and quick to deliver business needs by delivering best in class support with Azure services. This Engineer position exposes associates to Azure services, Automation, DevOps Integration and modernization. We seek to maximize opportunities and deliver Cloud Solutions that meets/exceeds customers' needs.

Qualifications:  

• An aspiring Cloud Infrastructure Engineer who's excited to work on large scale challenges with cutting-edge technology
• Desire to learn about Cloud Engineering and Operations
• Curious about technology, self-motivated, and excited to learn.
• Foundational knowledge of basic Computer Science principles, data structures and algorithms.
• Familiarity with Cloud technologies, Container platforms, Data and DevOps
• Experience with Microsoft Office products like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, Excel proficiency is a plus
• Team player who thrives in a continually changing and high demanding environment
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Education 

• Must be enrolled in a BA/BS, MS or PhD program or recent graduate in a related field.
