Primary Purpose:
The IT Strategy & Planning team within the Office of the CIO is responsible for developing and managing our 3 - 5 year IT Strategy and ~$250M yearly IT investment portfolio. This analyst role will facilitate the portfolio demand intake and resource management processes by working with several stakeholder groups including IT, Investment Planning, Finance, etc.

Our flexible/hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Quincy, MA and Salisbury, NC.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the demand intake process and validate completeness of demand records including alignment to strategy, TCO, financial information, benefits, resources required, etc.
  • Coach and guide IT stakeholders on the end-to-end IT Portfolio demand management process including various stage gates, key stakeholders and associated templates and tools.
  • Collaborate with Investment Planning team to open project records in SAP financial system.
  • Lead and support development and execution of training on various Portfolio Governance processes and Clarity aspects to the broader IT teams.
  • Create and manage a comprehensive resource view for all IT investments to ensure resources are properly allocated to ensure that commitments are met as scheduled and within budget.
  • Facilitate cross-functional resource allocation and prioritization with IT Leadership, IT Project Management Office, and engineering teams.
  • Execute project resource monitoring and utilization tracking process for internal associates and external 3rd party contractors.
  • Track and report on onsite, onshore, and nearshore usage for each project and at the portfolio level.
  • Coordinate and resolve exceptions, escalations, and resource issues by working with various IT leaders.
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.
Qualifications:
  • Masters Degree in Computer Science or Technical relevant field; equivalent trainings/certifications/experience equivalency will be considered
  • 5 or more years of equivalent experience in relevant job or field of technology; IT Portfolio Support roles
  • Experience in an advanced role or technical capacity, leading teams directly or indirectly
  • Experience in guiding, training or onboarding team members in relevant technologies, capabilities or skills
  • Strong understanding of Bimodal portfolio management concepts
  • Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration; able to work well in a cross-functional environment.
  • Developing and delivering multi-mode communications (verbal and written) that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
  • Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Familiarity and working experience in Clarity PPM solution.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Post graduate degree advanced training and or certifications in relevant field/s of study preferred.
  • 3 or more years experience in Agile teams and or Product/Platform based operating model.
  • Experience in retail or grocery preferred.
  • Experience in leading teams.
