Primary Purpose
The Data Governance Manager is responsible for the integrity of data inputs across our CRM (Salesforce) and OMS (Placements.IO) systems for AD Retail Media network. Data Governance is essential to AD Retail Media network to ensure accurate data, regulates the Salesforce Order to Cash Cycle (from contact and account creation to opportunity inputs to invoice revisions). The Data Governance Manager ensures all data entered is accurate to ensure we have reliable data used for pipeline management for sales, seller metrics, category sales and leadership reporting.
The Data Governance Manager is responsible for all aspects of Retail Media data governance and master datamanagement within Sales Force in the Order to Cash Cycle. The Data Governance Manager develops the overall data governance strategy and creates and maintains policies, standards and best practices for data access,management, provisioning, and data integration. The manager acts as the subject matter expert within the Retail Media organization and is able to liaise with ADRM Leadership, ADRM analytics and Data Analytics teams, product development teams, and marketing managers to ensure strategic and tactical data goals and objectives are met while ensuring the appropriate protection and ethical use of the data.
The Data Governance Manager will also be responsible for assisting in our ability to pull in, organize and display data in a clear and useful way segmenting critical metrics across sales with data updated in real time so team members can see the latest information. These reports can include pipeline dashboard, sales performance, leaderboard, win / loss / sales leads. This role requires proficiency across the Salesforce CRM platform.
Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC .

Duties and Responsibilities
- Identify & lead implementing best practices in data governance and master data management automation establishing standard operating procedures for sales and account management to implement
- Provides data governance and data quality support and expertise across Retail Media
- Protects sensitive data through implementation of policies and standards, principles, governancemetrics, processes, related tools, and data architecture
- Serve as a thought leader representing ADUSA and the expansion of the Salesforce practice across otherfunctional areas across the company
- Ensure safeguards are implemented across all Retail Media data domains, including data cleansing,and developing conversion objects for movement of data into test and production environments.
- Bring subject matter expertise and market insight to educate and support the business teams impacted by resulting specifications and standard
- Owner of all touchpoints of the data (its' accuracy, integrity, etc.) through the Order to Cash Cycle
- Ensures data is entered into Salesforce accurately by the account management and sales team
- Validates and audits specific fields in Salesforce to avoid invoicing errors and reporting needs are met
- Manages the auditing of created and locked opportunities from Account Management and IO record types
- Automates forecasting, revenue, recognition and reporting for the Account Management and Sales teams
- Assigns Salesforces tasks to the Account Management team when errors are found
- Responsible for the financial impacts of Salesforce ensuring backdating does not occur
- Partners with Sales Leadership to build and maintain the CRM database by creating new leads
- Builds dashboards within CRM to assist in reporting across various metrics and teams
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of Salesforce CRM platform with experience in supporting data governance and data integrity across organization
- Applies knowledge of systems, data, and customer requirements to uncover problems and recommends solutions
- Proven knowledge of data integration tools and ability to manage complex business ecosystem and volume of data inputs and task management
- Ability to support users, managing data, maintaining security standard and actionable insights and analytics tied to business
- Solid understanding of program and process development
- Ability to determine long term directions, industry trends, and how they relate to the organizational needs
- Must be able to initiate change and be able to communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Subject Matter Expert in Salesforce
- Excellent interpersonal skills (interacts with internal/external partners & stakeholders)
- Strong Data Management /expertise background
- Bachelor's Degree
