This position is responsible for leading a team of In-Stock Analysts in the effective deployment of inventory via Forced Distributions to support our Great Local Brands. This position will lead the AUSA operational support of allocation release and management within legacy Mainframe systems via calculated alignment with our Distribution Center teams. This position will be responsible for providing directions to the team in ensuring brand and business needs are met while identifying planning and execution improvement opportunities.

***Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD

Essential job functions:
  • Develop and execute processes and best practices to guide a highly collaborative team of In-stock Analysts to support all Ahold Delhaize stores and warehouses. This includes efficient developing and reviewing business processes to address inventory distribution planning challenges such as promotions, holidays, stock outs, retail in stock, seasonal stores, and third-party interaction.
  • Work with Category Management, DC Operations, Brand Leadership, Supply Chain Leadership, Control Tower teams to ensure a single view of planned allocation forecasts to be utilized by internal and external teams.
  • Drive strong relationships with all AUSA DC Operation teams to reinforce best practices and weekly execution to DC staffing plans.
  • Partner in Self-Distribution Project collaboration to ensure tracks appropriately support facility transitions.
  • Support brand inquiries of forced distribution status and research of store distribution receipt concerns.
  • Identify areas for the development of improved reporting and tracking of forced distribution, operational execution and In-Stock success across legacy AUSA facilities.
  • Regularly review and assess team responsibilities and propose areas for work efficiency.
  • Drive a culture and process of continuous improvement and communicate the team's effectiveness in achieving key performance indicators to various levels of Senior Management.
  • Recruit, mentor, direct, motivate and develop their staff while maximizing individual contribution, professional growth and their ability to function effectively and achieve business goals.
  • Responsible and accountable for managing their associate's fundamental knowledge in how decisions impact overall supply chain operations and cost of goods.
  • Additional job duties may be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the business and support our Values.

Qualifications:
Knowledge:
  • Seasoned level of knowledge for company, business and industry practices
  • Solid understanding of supply chain networks, particularly in grocery retail
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel
  • Strong knowledge of retail forecasting technology and systems
  • Strong understanding of statistical methodologies

Skills:
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Executive level presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills to include advanced mathematics and statistics
  • Supervisory / leadership skills; This role should demonstrate behaviors across the "leading others" level of My Leadership Journey

Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant work experience

Experience:
  • 3-5 years relevant work experience
  • Store Operations experience preferred
  • Strong business background
