Position Summary:
Responsible for evaluating, recommending, and implementing cost effective Transportation options and integrated Logistics systems and processes across Ahold Delhaize America. Uses analytical and quantitative methods to understand, predict, and enhance Logistics processes. Collaborates across all Ahold Delhaize America banners in support of each company's unique business strategies. Collaborates with internal and external partners to guide, provide expertise, and recommend solutions that highlight cost and other holistic impacts and trade-offs to the Ahold Delhaize America Supply Chain. Provides analytical expertise and guidance for projects, new business opportunities, and proposals.

Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
• Effectively work with cross-functional teams across multiple operating companies toward common Logistics strategies.
• Evaluate, analyze, and recommend cross-functional Logistics solutions that align Ahold Delhaize America Supply Chain strategy with individual business objectives.
• Collaborates in the discovery of Logistical opportunities throughout a combined Ahold Delhaize America network.
• Participates in the development of alternate product channels utilizing sound research and design methodology, as well as the development and implementation of programs to improve operating processes.
• Facilitates continuous improvement conversations at all levels throughout the organization.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners (Suppliers, Distribution, Transportation, Category, Retail, 3rd Party Carriers) to design and implement strategies and tactics to reduce total landed cost, while developing a more consumer driven network.
• Is a company expert on industry Logistics activities, changes, and trends.
• Meet with impacted departments concerning goals, priorities, and technical concerns.
• Provide support for motivating peers and function as an effective promoter of change and growth.
• Provide support for the implementation of a continuous improvement culture
• Serve as a member of key teams and committees as needed
• Responsible for the development, talent planning and performance management of self.

Basic Requirements:

Education:
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
• 3 - 5 years combined experience in supply chain, distribution operations, inventory management, sourcing, business analytics and/or logistics Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, finance, supply chain or related field - or 5 years industry or analytical experience
• Demonstrated ability to transform data from multiple sources into actionable business intelligence
• Collaboration experience with vendors, transportation providers, and third-party vendors
• Six Sigma, APICS, CPM, or other analytical or supply chain-oriented certification/training
• Organizational change management experience and understanding of the value of business process change relating to people, process, and policies
• Experience with the following computer programs: SEGA, DSS, LlamaSoft, WMS, PFT, Inforem, Tableau, Revionics, MSP
Knowledge:
• Working knowledge of supply chain systems, warehouse management systems, replenishment methodology, and industrial engineering methods/techniques.
• Basic professional level of knowledge for company, business, and industry practices
• Proficient in MS Office with strong focus In Excel, Access, and PowerPoint or related software
• Demonstrated ability to transform data from multiple sources into actionable business intelligence
• Collaboration experience with vendors, transportation providers, and third-party vendors
• Six Sigma, APICS, CPM, or other analytical or supply chain-oriented certification/training
• Organizational change management experience and understanding of the value of business process change relating to people, process, and policies
• Experience with the following computer programs: SEGA, DSS, LlamaSoft, WMS, PFT, Inforem, Tableau, Revionics, MSP
