Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program.
**Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from May 27, 2025 through August 15, 2025. Department/Position Description:
Business Integrity Services is responsible for ensuring that Ahold Delhaize USA's great local brands comply with state and local laws. The department is made up of diverse functions including Legal Affairs, Quality Assurance and Risk Management Services. Together, this department provides guidance and support to the businesses of Ahold Delhaize USA, including, but not limited to, contract reviews; litigation defense; mergers and acquisitions; labor and employment advice; licensing for all store and distribution operations; compliance advice; food safety for distribution and retail; lobbying and maintaining relationships with political and industry leaders; workplace safety; business continuity planning; and workers' compensation as well as general and auto liability claims.
In this role you will build and maintain positive relationships with internal (Brands, Distributions Centers, Transportation, Ecommerce, Human Resources, Legal, Insurance) and external (vendors, healthcare providers, outside attorneys) customers. Maintain confidentiality of information and records. Develop a working knowledge of banner policies and procedures. Supports adjusters by researching and gathering necessary documentation for claims. Supports adjusters by updating claims files with correspondence and notes. Supports projects assigned by Manager as needed.
Qualifications:
- Working towards a degree in Risk or Insurance Management, Business or related field.
- Experience working in a collaborative group setting
- Experience using analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and effectively
- Knowledge of medical, legal, insurance and claims terminology
- Knowledge of MS Power BI (Preferred)
