Internship Overview:

Get an insider view of the fast-changing grocery retail industry while developing relevant business, technical and leadership skills geared towards enhancing your career. This paid internship experience is an opportunity to help drive business results in an environment designed to promote and reward diversity, innovation and leadership. Applicants must be currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program.

**Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from May 27, 2025 through August 15, 2025. We have a hybrid work environment that requires a minimum of three days a week in the office. Please submit your resume including your cumulative GPA. Transcripts may be requested at a future date.**

Department/Position Description:

Supplier Diversity is committed to making space at the sourcing table for suppliers of all sizes and backgrounds with a unique focus on those underrepresented backgrounds; We connect suppliers to buyers across the network to bring the best forward to ensure we provide the best product and service to our customers and our business partners

The supplier diversity intern will be responsible for various efforts within current programming as well as assisting in building out new capabilities relating to Tier 2 reporting. Selected applicant will review process documentation shared with new and existing supplier partners for accuracy and relatability; Collect feedback from key stakeholders and program participants associated with the 2025 accelerator program with the expectation they provide recommendations for enhancement for future accelerator programs;

At the end of their internship, the selected applicant will have a strong foundation of supplier diversity, its impact on our business and the community and the satisfaction of knowing they left a lasting impression on the future of this important work.

Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a collaborative group setting
  • Experience using analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly, appropriately and effectively
  • School curriculum: Supply Chain/Procurement focused, Business Strategy, Business Entrepreneurship
  • Soft Skills: Analytical skills, verbal & writing skills, self-sufficient/leading without authority comfort level
  • Relatable Experience: Present/Previous entrepreneur/business owner or partner, non-profit experience
