Internship Overview:

**Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis and be available from May 27, 2025 through August 15, 2025. Department/Position Description:
The Risk Management Department is dedicated to safeguarding our brand's assets through effective risk financing and claims management. This dynamic team is responsible for the strategic placement of insurance coverages, administration of workers' compensation, and management of liability claims. Our goal is to ensure comprehensive protection for all brand activities and to efficiently handle any claims that arise, maintaining the financial stability and operational integrity of our brands across the US.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and personable Insurance Claims Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support the placement of insurance coverages for the brands and assist in administering workers' compensation and liability claims. Your responsibilities will include managing and adjudicating claims within our operations. You will also work on the finance side by analyzing underwriting data, claims experience, vehicle information, and payroll by location. On the claims side, you will interact with claimants, gather incident details, and aid in resolving claims effectively. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and Excel skills, and a background or interest in actuary, finance, or risk management.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in Risk Management, Finance, Actuarial Science, Criminal Justice, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to manage and adjudicate claims effectively.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
- Familiarity with underwriting data, claims experience, vehicle information, and payroll is a plus.
- Background or interest in systems, actuary, or investigative programs is advantageous.
