Posistion Summary:

The primary purpose of this position is preparing invoices to tenants for their rental obligations and ensuring consistent follow up order to collect on these charges. Following lease terminology in managing tenant accounts, ensuring we are collecting on all Items the tenant is responsible for. Providing tenants with a reconciliation as needed and contacting tenants for any delinquent amounts within portfolio.
Qualifications:

  • Establishing working relationships with tenants, assisting with any questions, concerns, or discrepancies with their accounts.
    Understanding of lease terminology prger to determine which expenses are billable to each tenant.
  • Creating invoices to tenants, computing their pro rata share based on expenses incurred for items such as common area maintenance, taxes, insurance, and percentage rent
  • Providing a consistent review of aged delinquencies and ensuring consistent follow up to tenants for collecting outstanding balances owed.
  • Assisting the Accounts Payable team as necessary in racking and processing of direct real estate and property tax inwices in a timely manner to prevent penalties and interest (when needed).
  • Completing monthly reviews to each tenant's account keeping a consistent updated account reconciliation.
  • Performing Cash Application research when questions arise.
  • Provide support for various Ahold Delhaize departments and request necessary documents related to the opening of new stores such as certificates of insurance.

Our flexible/ hybrid work schedule includes 3 in-person days at one of our core locations and 2 remote days. Our core office locations include Salisbury, NC , Chicago, IL, Quincy, MA, Carlisle, PA, Scarborough, ME, Hyattsville, MD and Mauldin, SC.
